শেরপুরে এক গৃহবধূর ঝুলন্ত লাশ উদ্ধার

বাংলা নিউস রিপোর্ট ২৪: বগুড়ার শেরপুরে এক গৃহধূর ঝুলন্ত লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। ওই গৃহবধূর নাম বিপাশা রানী সরকার (২০)। গত শনিবার (০৬জুলাই) সন্ধ্যায় উপজেলার বিশালপুর ইউনিয়নের উঁদগ্রামে এই ঘটনাটি ঘটে। পরে ওই রাতেই পুলিশ নিহতের লাশ উদ্ধার করে থানায় আনে।

আজ রোববার (০৭জুলাই) ওই গৃহবধূর লাশ ময়না তদন্তের জন্য বগুড়া শহীদ জিয়াউর রহমান মেডিকেল কলেজ (শজিমেক) হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয়। নিহত বিপাশা রানী জেলার নন্দীগ্রাম উপজেলার মাড়িয়া গ্রামের বিপ্লব চন্দ্র সরকারের মেয়ে। এদিকে নিহতের স্বজনদের অভিযোগ, স্বামীর পরিবারের লোকজনের অত্যাচার নির্যাতন সইতে না পেরে গৃহবধূ বিপাশা রানী নিজ শয়নকক্ষের তীরের সঙ্গে গলায় রশি লাগিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করেছে।

উক্ত ঘটনায় আত্মহত্যার প্ররোচনার অভিযোগ এনে স্বামী প্রশান্ত চন্দ্র সরকার, শ্বশুর সুনীল চন্দ্র সরকার ও শাশুড়ী সারর্থী রানীর বিরুদ্ধে থানায় লিখিত অভিযোগ দেন নিহত ওই গৃহবধূর বাবা। পরে ওই গৃহবধূর স্বামী প্রশান্ত ও শ্বশুড় সুনীলকে আটক করে পুলিশ।

অভিযোগে জানা যায়, বছর তিনেক আগে উপজেলার বিশালপুর ইউনিয়নের উঁদগ্রামের প্রশান্ত চন্দ্র সরকারের সঙ্গে বিপাশা রানীর বিয়ে হয়। বিয়েতে নগদ তিন লাখ টাকা ও একটি বাজাজ মোটরসাইকেল যৌতুক দেয়া হয়। সংসার জীবনে তাদের পরিবারে একটি ছেলে সন্তানের জন্ম হয়।

কিন্তু বিয়ের পর থেকেই বউ হিসেবে বিপাশাকে পছন্দ নয়-এমন অভিযোগ তুলেন স্বামীর ও তার পরিবারের সদস্যরা। তাই কোন কারণ ছাড়াই ওই গৃবধূর ওপর শারিরীক ও মানষিক নির্যাতন চালানো হতো।

একপর্যায়ে তাদের অমানবিক নির্যাতন সইতে না পেরে শনিবার ঘটনার সময়ে গলায় ফাঁস দিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করেছে বলে অভিযোগে দাবি করা হয়েছে। তবে এসব অভিযোগ অস্বীকার করে স্বামী প্রশান্ত সরকার বলেন, বিপাশার সঙ্গে কোন কথাই হয়নি। এরপরও কেন সে আত্মহত্যা করলো তা বুঝতে পারছি না।

এ প্রসঙ্গে জানতে চাইলে শেরপুর থানার উপ-পরিদর্শক (এসআই) পুতুল মোহন্ত জানান, উক্ত ঘটনায় প্রাথমিকভাবে অপমৃত্যু মামলা রেকর্ড করা হয়েছে। তবে ময়না তদন্তের প্রতিবেদন অনুযায়ী পরবর্তীতে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে। এছাড়া ওই গৃহবধূর স্বামী-শ্বশুড়কে আটক করা হয়েছে বলে এই পুলিশ কর্মকর্তা জানান।

The husband of the housewife, who was killed in the incident, filed a written complaint against the husband Prashanta Chandra Sarkar, father-in-law Sunil Chandra Sarkar and mother-in-law Surthari Ranieri. After police arrested the housewife Prashant and mother-in-law Sunil.

According to the complaint, Bipasha Rani was married to Prakash Chandra Sarkar of Udgotagram in Golpur Union of the district three years ago. In the marriage, cash of three lakh rupees and a Bajaj motorcycle dowry was given.

In his family life, a son was born in his family. But husband and his family members complain that Bipasha is not liked as a wife since marriage. So without any reason, the physical and psychological torture would have been done against that greedy person.

At one stage, they have not been able to face inhuman torture and claimed that they committed suicide by hanging themselves on Saturday. However, Swamy Prashanta Sarkar denied the allegations saying there was no talk with Bipasha.

Still, I do not understand why he committed suicide. Asked about this, sub-inspector (Sherpur) Sub-Inspector Putul Mohanty said that the case was initially recorded in the case of the death. But according to the post mortem report, necessary measures will be taken later. Besides, the housewife's husband-father-in-law has been arrested, said the police officer.
