চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ-ঢাকা রুটে ‘বনলতা এক্সপ্রেস’ চালু ২৫ জুলাই

বাংলা নিউস রিপোর্ট ২৪: রেলপথ মন্ত্রী অ্যাডভোকেট নুরুল ইসলাম সুজন বলেছেন, প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার প্রতিশ্রুতি অনুযায়ী আগামী ২৫ জুলাই থেকে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ-ঢাকা রুটে বনলতা আন্তঃনগর ট্রেন চালু হচ্ছে। তিনি বলেন, বর্তমানে রাজশাহী-ঢাকা রুটে চলাচলকারী বিরতিহীন বনলতা এক্সপ্রেসকে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ পর্যন্ত সম্প্রসারণ করা হবে। এজন্য চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ রেলস্টেশন ভবনের আধুনিকায়নের কাজ চলছে।

আজ শুক্রবার দুপুরে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ রেলওয়ে স্টেশন পরিদর্শনকালে স্থানীয় আওয়ামী লীগ আয়োজিত এক সমাবেশে প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে তিনি এসব কথা বলেন।

সমাবেশে রেলপথ মন্ত্রী নুরুল ইসলাম সুজন আরো বলেন, রেল মন্ত্রণালয়ের দায়িত্ব নেওয়ার পরই তিনি চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ-ঢাকা রুটে আন্তঃনগর ট্রেন চালু করতে রেলের পশ্চিমাঞ্চলের জিএমকে নির্দেশ দেন। অবশেষে সব প্রক্রিয়া শেষ করে আগামী ২৫ জলাই থেকে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জবাসীর প্রাণের এই দাবি বাস্তবায়ন করা হচ্ছে।

তিনি বলেন, বর্তমানে রাজশাহী-ঢাকা রুটে চলাচলকারী বিরতিহীন বনলতা এক্সপ্রেস চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ পর্যন্ত সম্প্রসারিত করা হবে। চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ থেকে ছেড়ে এই ট্রেনটি শুধু রাজশাহী রেলস্টেশনে যাত্রাবিরতি করবে। চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জের জন্য একটি শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রিত বগি ও দুটি শোভন বগির ২৭৬টি আসন বরাদ্দ থাকবে। বাকি ৫০০ আসন রাজশাহীর জন্যে বরাদ্দ থাকবে।

তিনি আরো বলেন, আন্তঃনগর ট্রেন চালুর জন্যই চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ রেল স্টেশনে নতুন প্লাটফর্ম, আরেকটি রেল লাইন, ওয়াসপিট ও ওয়াটার সেড নির্মাণ করা হচ্ছে।

চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ পৌর আওয়ামী লীগের সভাপতি শরিফুল ইসলামের সভাপতিত্বে সমাবেশে অন্যান্যের মধ্যে বক্তব্য রাখেন চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক আব্দুল ওদুদ, নারী সংসদ সদস্য ফেরদৌসি ইসলাম জেসি, সদর উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক অ্যাডভোকেট নজরুল ইসলাম, জেলা যুবলীগের সভাপতি সামিউল হক লিটন, জেলা কৃষকলীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক মসফিকুর রহমান টিটো প্রমুখ।

এর আগে সকালে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ সফরের শুরুতেই রেলমন্ত্রী অ্যাডভোকেট নুরুল ইসলাম সুজন সোনামসজিদ স্থলবন্দর পরিদর্শন করেন। সেখানে তিনি গণমাধ্যমকর্মীদের জানান, সারা দেশকে রেল নেটওয়ার্কের আওতায় আনতে কাজ করছে সরকার। যেসব এলাকায় রেললাইন নেই, সেইসব এলাকায় নতুন করে রেললাইন নির্মাণ করা হচ্ছে।

চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ-রাজশাহী-ঢাকা রেলপথকে ডাবল লাইনে রুপান্তরের ব্যাপারে সাংবাদিকদের প্রশ্নের জবাবে তিনি বলেন, রেলের গতি বাড়াতে পর্যায়ক্রমে দেশের সব রেললাইনই ডাবল লাইনে রুপান্তর করা হবে।

প্রধানমন্ত্রীর প্রতিশ্রুত সোনামসজিদ স্থলবন্দর পর্যন্ত রেললাইন সম্প্রসারণের বিষয়ে তিনি বলেন, ভারতের সঙ্গে আলোচনা করে এ ব্যাপারে সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হবে। এসময় চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ-১ আসনের সংসদ সদস্য ডা. সামিল উদ্দিন আহমেদ শিমুল, রাজশাহীর নারী সংসদ সদস্য আদিবা আঞ্জুম মিতা, পশ্চিমাঞ্চল রেলওয়ের ব্যবস্থাপক (জিএম) শহিদুল ইসলাম, সাবেক ছাত্রলীগ নেতা রবিউল ইসলাম বুদু, শিবগঞ্জ উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান নজরম্নল ইসলমাম তার সঙ্গে ছিলেন।

Railway Minister Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon said that according to the commitment of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Banlata Inter-city Train will be started on Chapainawabganj-Dhaka route from July 25.

He said that the non-stop movement of Rajshahi-Dhaka route will now be extended to Chapainawabganj. For this, the work of modernization of Chapainawabganj Railway Station building is in progress.

He said this while addressing the Chapainawabganj railway station on Friday afternoon as the chief guest at a rally organized by the local Awami League.

Railway minister Nurul Islam Sujon also said, after taking the responsibility of the railway ministry, he directed GMK to the west of the railway to launch inter-city trains on Chapainawabganj-Dhaka route. Finally, after the completion of all the process, the demand for the life of Chapainababganj from the water of 25 water is being implemented.

He said that the non-stop Banaltra Express will be extended up to Chapainawabganj on Rajshahi-Dhaka route. From Chapainawabganj this train will stop only on Rajshahi railway station.

For Chapainawabganj, an air-conditioned bogie and two suvon bogies will have allocated 276 seats. The remaining 500 seats are allocated for Rajshahi.

He also said that new platforms, another railway line, Waspit, and watershed are being constructed at Chapainawabganj railway station for launching inter-city trains.

Chapainawabganj municipal Awami League president Shariful Islam presided over the rally while among others, Chapainawabganj district Awami League general secretary Abdul Wadud, parliament member Ferdousi Islam Jessi, Sadar Upazila Awami League general secretary Advocate Nazrul Islam, district Juba League president Samiul Haq Liton, general secretary of the district unit of agriculture Masfikur Rahman Tito also mentioned.

Earlier, on the morning of the Chapainawabganj tour, Railway Minister Advocate Nurul Islam visited Sujan Sonamasjid Land Port. There he told the media workers that the government is working to bring the whole country under the rail network. New railway lines are being constructed in areas where there is no railway line.

Responding to the question of the change in the line of Chapainawabganj-Rajshahi-Dhaka rail line, he said that all the railway lines of the country will be transformed into double line in order to increase the speed of the railways.

Regarding the expansion of the railway line to the Prime Minister's promised Sonamasjid land port, she said, the decision will be taken after discussions with India. Meanwhile, MP of the Chapainawabganj-1 constituency said.
