ঈদ জামাতে জায়নামাজ ছাড়া অন্য কিছু নয়

বাংলা নিউস রিপোর্ট ২৪: পবিত্র ঈদুল ফিতর উপলক্ষে জাতীয় ঈদগাহের জামাতে মুসল্লিরা জায়নামাজ ছাড়া অন্যকিছু নিয়ে প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন না। তবে প্রয়োজনে ছাতা নিয়ে প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন। মুসল্লিদের অন্য কিছু বহন না করার অনুরোধ জানিয়েছেন ঢাকা মেট্রোপলিটন পুলিশ (ডিএমপি) কমিশনার আছাদুজ্জামান মিয়া।

আজ সোমবার সকালে জাতীয় ঈদগাহের নিরাপত্তাব্যবস্থা পরিদর্শন শেষে সংবাদ সম্মেলনে তিনি একথা বলেন।ডিএমপি কমিশনার বলেন, ঈদগাহের ভেতরে পুরো এলাকায় সিসি ক্যামেরা লাগানো থাকবে। পুলিশের কন্ট্রোল রুম থেকে এগুলোর ফুটেজ মনিটরিং করা হবে। এছাড়াও আগত মুসল্লিদের তিন ধাপে তল্লাশি করে ঈদগাহে প্রবেশ করতে দেয়া হবে।

কমিশনার বলেন, ঈদ জামাতে আগত মুসল্লিরা জায়নামাজ ও ছাতা নিয়ে আসতে পারবেন। এর বাইরে কোনো কিছু সঙ্গে নিয়ে আসা যাবে না। দাহ্য পদার্থ থেকে শুরু করে ব্যাগ, ছুরি-কাঁচি, ব্লেড সঙ্গে রাখা যাবে না। পুলিশ চাইলে জায়নামাজ ও ছাতা খুলে দেখাতে হবে। কারও উদ্বিগ্ন হওয়ার কারণ নেই। ঈদ জামাতের চারদিকে পর্যাপ্ত নিরাপত্তাব্যবস্থা থাকবে।

তিনি বলেন, ঈদের জামাতের জন্য সম্পূর্ণ প্রস্তুত জাতীয় ঈদগাহ ময়দান। ঈদ জামাতকে ঘিরে কয়েক স্তুরের নিরাপত্তাব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করেছে ডিএমপি। এর মধ্যে পোশাকধারী পুলিশ, সাদা পোশাকে ডিবি পুলিশ, সোয়াত, সিটিটিসি, বোম্ব ডিসপোজাল ইউনিট, আর্চওয়ে ও সিসিটিভি মনিটরিং ব্যবস্থা থাকবে। এর মধ্য দিয়েই মুসল্লিদের ঈদ জামাতে প্রবেশ করতে হবে।

জাতীয় ঈদগাহের জামাতে সন্দেহজনক কোনো কিছু দেখলে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তা পুলিশকে জানানোর আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন ডিএমপি কমিশনার আছাদুজ্জামান মিয়া।

কমিশনার আরও বলেন, ঢাকা শহরে জাতীয় ঈদ জামাত বাদেও অন্তত আরও কয়েকশ জামাত অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। আমরা সেগুলোতেও সাধ্যমতো নিরাপত্তা দেয়ার চেষ্টা করবো। কোথাও কোথাও আর্চওয়ে না থাকলেও ফিজিক্যালি সার্চিং করা হবে।

সেক্ষেত্রে নাগরিকদের পুলিশকে সহায়তা করার আহ্বান জানান কমিশনার। তিনি আরও বলেন, আমরা চাই নিরাপত্তার বিষয়ে নাগরিকরাও যাতে সচেতন থাকেন। কোথাও কিছু দেখলে তা যেন পুলিশ কন্ট্রোল রুম, ট্রিপল নাইন ও সংশ্লিষ্ট পুলিশ সদস্যদের অবহিত করেন। অতীতের নিরাপত্তার কথা মাথায় রেখেই এবারের নিরাপত্তাব্যবস্থা জোরদার করা হয়েছে।

‘ঈদ জামাতে প্রবেশে মানুষের চলাচল নির্বিঘ্ন করতে জিরো পয়েন্ট, সরকারি কর্মচারী হাসপাতাল মোড়, মৎস্যভবন মোড় ও পল্টন মোড়ে ব্যারিকেড থাকবে। এসব রাস্তা দিয়ে ঈদগাহের দিকে পায়ে হেঁটে আসতে হবে। কোনো গাড়ি চলাচল করতে পারবে না’।

ঈদের জামাতে কোনো হুমকি আছে কিনা? এক প্রশ্নের জবাবে কমিশনার বলেন, সুস্পষ্টভাবে নিরাপত্তার কোনো হুমকি নেই। আমরা রাতদিন কাজ করছি। নিউজিল্যান্ড ও শ্রীলঙ্কায় হামলার পর বৈশ্বিক প্রেক্ষাপটে নিরাপত্তা হুমকির যথেষ্ট কারণ রয়েছে। সবসময় একটি গোষ্ঠী ভীতিসঞ্চার করার জন্য তৎপর রয়েছে। আমরাও সকল গোয়েন্দা বাহিনীর সদস্যদের সাথে সমন্বয় করে কাজ করছি।

সংবাদ সম্মেলনে আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন ডিএমপির কাউন্টার টেররিজম অ্যান্ড ট্রান্সন্যাশনাল ক্রাইম ইউনিটের প্রধান মনিরুল ইসলাম, ডিএমপির যুগ্ম কমিশনার শেখ নাজমুল আলম, পুলিশের রমনা বিভাগের উপ-কমিশনার (ডিসি) মারুফ হোসেন সরদারসহ ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তারা।
