শিশু সায়মার হত্যাকারী গ্রেফতার

বাংলা নিউস রিপোর্ট ২৪: রাজধানীর ওয়ারী বনগ্রামে ধর্ষণের পর হত্যার শিকার শিশু সামিয়া আফরিন সায়মার (৭) হত্যাকারীকে গ্রেফতার করেছে পুলিশ। গ্রেফতার যুবকের নাম হারুনুর রশীদ। আজ রোববার তাকে নারায়ণগঞ্জের সোনারগাঁ থেকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়।

পুলিশের ওয়ারী বিভাগের ডিসি ইফতেখার আহমেদ ঘটনার সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করে জানান, গ্রেফতার হারুনের বাড়ি নারায়ণগঞ্জের সোনারগাঁয়। ঘটনার পর সে পলাতক ছিল। তার মোবাইল ফোনও বন্ধ ছিল। পরে পুলিশ তার অবস্থান শনাক্ত করে তাকে সোনারগাঁ থেকে ধরে আনে।

এদিকে শিশু সায়মার বাবা আব্দুস সালাম জানান, ঘাতক ফ্ল্যাট মালিক পারভেজের খালাতো ভাই। সে ভবনের ৮তলায় পারভেজের বাসায় থাকতো এবং ঠাটারিবাজারে একটা রঙের দোকানে কাজ করতো।

পুলিশ জানায়, শনিবার সকালে শিশুর বাবা আব্দুস সালাম বাদী হয়ে ওয়ারি থানায় নারী ও শিশু নির্যাতন দমন আইনে একটি মামলা করেছেন। পুলিশ তদন্ত করছে। ভবনের আশপাশের ভিডিও ফুটেজ সংগ্রহ করে যাচাই-বাছাই করা হয়েছে। সন্দেহে কয়েকজনকে আটকের পর জিজ্ঞাসাবাদও করা হয়। এরপর ঘাতক হারুনুর রশীদকে শনাক্ত করে গ্রেফতার করা হয়।

ডিএমপির ওয়ারী বিভাগের ওয়ারী জোনের সহকারী কমিশনার মোহাম্মদ সামসুজ্জামান বলেন, ময়নাতদন্ত শেষে ঢামেক ফরেনসিক বিভাগ ওই শিশুকে ধর্ষণের পর হত্যা করা হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছে।

এর আগে শুক্রবার সন্ধ্যার পর থেকে শিশু সায়মার খোঁজ পাচ্ছিল না তার পরিবার। আনুমানিক সন্ধ্যা সাড়ে ৭টার দিকে নবনির্মিত ভবনটির নয়তলার ফাঁকা ফ্ল্যাটের ভেতরে সায়মার মৃত অবস্থায় দেখতে পান পরিবারের সদস্যরা। খবর পেয়ে রাত ৮টার দিকে পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে।

পরিবার সূত্রে জানা গেছে, ওই ভবনের ছয়তলায় পরিবারের সঙ্গে থাকত সায়মা। বাবা আব্দুস সালাম নবাবপুরের একজন ব্যবসায়ী। দুই ছেলে ও দুই মেয়ের মধ্যে সবার ছোট সায়মা। ওয়ারী সিলভারডেল স্কুলের নার্সারিতে পড়ত সে।

আব্দুস সালাম বলেন, সন্ধ্যার পর ফ্ল্যাট থেকে বেরিয়ে যাওয়ার সময় তার মাকে বলে ‘আমি উপরে পাশের ফ্ল্যাটে যাচ্ছি, একটু খেলাধুলা করতে।’ এরপর থেকে নিখোঁজ হয় সায়মা। অনেক খোঁজা-খুঁজির পর ৯তলায় খালি ফ্ল্যাটের ভেতরে গলায় রশি দিয়ে বাঁধা ও মুখে রক্তাক্ত অবস্থায় মেয়েকে দেখতে পাই।
